NATURAL WINE
Wine Moderne aligns ourselves with conscious producers who showcase wines that are transparent. They should reflect the grape variety and show a sense of place. Rocks, dirt and minerality are the essence of terroir. We want it earthy. We love it funky, however, we always look for balance and finesse!
We feature wineries that shine in this specific sub category. Life is too short to drink shitty wine. Wine Moderne has simple taste, nothing but the best will do. We want killer juice! Stand in unity with us.
ORGANIC
Wine made from grapes grown in vineyards that exclude the use of synthetic chemicals - fertilizers, herbicides, fungicides and pesticides.
BIODYNAMIC
For a vineyard to be considered biodynamic the vine-grower must follow the organic criteria plus some or all of the philosophies first voiced in 1924 by Rudolf Steiner.
NATURAL WINE
In general, organic and biodynamic philosophies concentrate on the vineyard (and similar standards of care should pass into the winery), but with natural winemakers stricter, self-imposed standards exist. There are currently no regulations in place to create consistency in quality. Production is extremely variable and requires a level of expertise on the winemaker's part.
CHARITY INVOLVEMENT
We groove to the same universal beat and, together, create beautiful experiences that will never be forgotten. We've had the pleasure to join forces with several charities. Let's unite to be the change in the local community and beyond!
We consider gift pack donations for fundraisers and silent auctions. All requests must be submitted a minimum of 4 weeks prior to the event for which you need the donation. Donations will be considered on a case by case basis.
SABERING
Jump off your next event with unique touch of flair. Sabrage is a technique for opening a champagne bottle with a saber. It is often used for ceremonial occasions. We downright love to chop bottles for just about anything!
